What is the Emerald Alignment Technique?
The Emerald Alignment Technique is a focussing practice you can perform repeatedly throughout the day to help calm, align and re-balance yourself. It is a simple process that works to:
1) Release negative energy or built-up stressful energy from your body.
2) Draw in Light and positivity, for re-energising and aligning back to the self – bringing
balance and rejuvenation.
3) Increase positive flow of energy within the body.
4) Protect your energies moving forward with the next part of your day.
The Emerald Alignment Technique used consistently brings empowerment and resilience to the stresses of life. The more it is performed the greater the effect (over time). I learnt this technique through the Light of Hope CIC on their Foundation in Light course, which serves as an introduction to learning about spiritual and metaphysical principles and practices. I have used the Emerald Alignment Technique consistently to great positive affect. It helps calm and centre me. It gives me a reboot and helps me feel ‘on top of my game’.
We are energy and this technique helps with energy flow in the body
The Light of Hope CIC’s explanation of the Emerald Alignment says:
The ‘body’s energy’ is in constant flow and movement. It is part of your body. Energy is received by the body through the crown, flowing down the spine, through the chakras and meridians into the bands of energy that surround the physical being.
The energy flow responds and reacts to changes within the physical body, the emotions, the thoughts, and the spirit. It also interacts with the energy fields of others.
If interactions and flow of this energy is balanced and harmonious, we experience feelings of wellbeing and positivity, e.g., peace and strength. Disrupted flow and stagnant energy gives feelings of resentment, pain, disorientation, etc.
Aligning the bands of energy and re-establishing positive flow within the body’s energy has an uplifting and balancing effect that is experienced immediately. Sealing the aligned energy field protects from negative interactions from others’ energy.
If aligned and sealed, then the personality will never be overcome by emotion or swayed by negativity but will always see things as gifts and opportunities for learning.

Impact and Benefits
When I got taught the Emerald Alignment Technique, I wondered how it worked and why it was so useful. I learnt how to do it, the stopping and being still, asking for help, breathing the blue light down and the emerald light of alignment and then sealing and protecting myself in a blue bubble of strength and protection. But didn’t really see how it would help. At the time I remember telling myself, well just the act of stopping and being still whilst doing the Emerald Alignment Technique would be beneficial (given the speed and busy-ness of my life at the time), so I started there and didn’t worry too much about the process, just went through the motions knowing that it was a powerful tool to bring greater focus, strength, calmness, and peace.
It is now the hallmark of my spiritual practice and the single most important tool in my armoury for coping with the daily stresses of life. Repetition is key with the Emerald Alignment Technique - the more you do it, the more aligned and more resilient you become. To me the spiritual dimension of calling to the Light makes this the ultimate mindfulness activity, as it brings in greater Universal Energy for alignment, balance, and strength.
Keeping yourself aligned helps you and those around you, as it regulates behaviour and promotes peace. This is a daily routine that can and should be repeated frequently. Useful in stressful situations, when you need to focus and be ‘on task’, before giving presentations or attending meetings etc, and for calming you down if anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed.
The Emerald Alignment is great for children and young people
The Emerald Alignment Technique is also extremely beneficial to children and young people for regulating behaviour, bringing peace and calm and helping with anxiety. It is especially helpful for those with conditions such as:
